Gratitude Journal – Day 9: Long Way to Go Today

Gratitude Journal – Day 9: Long Way to Go

Today, I am grateful for:

  1. Good Health
I’m grateful that my body functions as it’s meant to, even if it’s not in perfect condition.
  2. My Furbabies
In 2019, before the pandemic, one of my furry friends joined our family, and the other followed in December of the same year. They’ve been a source of endless love and joy, filling our lives with happiness. Thank you for being the sweetest gifts—and for waking me up every morning!
  3. A Place to Call Home
On rainy days like today, I feel extra thankful to have a warm and cozy home to enjoy.
  4. Rain
It rained this morning, and the sound of raindrops while lying in bed was so relaxing. Why does it feel so soothing?
  5. The Sound of My Furbabies Eating
Hearing the crunch of biscuits when my furbabies eat makes me smile. Their happy munching and adorable mouth movements bring me joy.
  6. Time
Time is precious, especially when I get to do what I love. Using time effectively while enjoying myself would be the ultimate goal. I’m not there yet, but I’m working my way toward it.
  7. Herbal Massage Oil
I use herbal massage oil for muscle pain, stomach discomfort, and stiff necks. Once applied, it creates a burning heat feeling, but it really helps ease the pain.
  8. Music
I’ve been enjoying choosing music for my content. Each piece feels like it adds a unique “color” to the videos. Unlike some creators who use the same track repeatedly, I prefer matching different music to the mood of each video. I wonder if any of my viewers notice the effort I put into it. Sometimes I spend too much time selecting the right track, but I love the process.
  9. Familiarity
Two months ago, I couldn’t imagine life without air conditioning. Now, I’ve adjusted to not using it. Maybe it’s the weather, or maybe my body has adapted. Either way, I’m happy to be saving energy!
  10. Imperfection
Imperfection teaches me to pray, to learn, to appreciate, and to grow into a better version of myself.
It was easier to write my gratitude journal yesterday, but today was more challenging. Still, I have a long way to go—and I’m determined to keep moving forward.
