Gratitude Journal – Day 2: It’s Still Not Any Easier Than Yesterday

Today, I am grateful for:

  1. Having good health for me and my family—both physically and mentally.
  2. Being able to spend another day with my furbabies—their presence brings so much comfort and joy.
  3. Writing my interests on this blog—it’s a big change in my life, stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing something new.
  4. The reactions to my post—and seeing my subscribers and followers increase, even if just a little, from yesterday.
  5. My husband still making me coffee every morning, even during our “cold wars.” It’s a small, meaningful gesture.
  6. Having a place to call home—a space where I can rest and feel safe.
  7. The ability to learn so much online—and the steps I’ve taken to put that knowledge into action, like starting this blog and connecting on social media.
  8. Having a computer that allows me to do so much online, though I feel like I’ve only just started to tap into its full potential. There’s more I could be doing, and that motivates me to grow.

I thought Day 2 would be easier, but it wasn’t. Today, I struggled to fill up all 10 spots. My mind feels clouded with negative thoughts, but I know this is just part of the journey. Some days are harder than others, and that’s okay.
