Gratitude Journal – Day 4: Thanks to All the Geniuses

 Today, I am grateful for:

  1. Having good health, both physically and mentally, for myself and my family.
  2. The happiness my furbabies bring into my life. They are pure love. They can be so happy with the simplest things, and that brings me so much joy. Sometimes, they follow my instructions, even when they don’t like to. They do it because they love their owner and family. Why don’t I do that more often?
  3. The people who watch my content and find value in it. It motivates me a lot. A life without motivation feels quite miserable.
  4. My husband still making me coffee every morning.
  5. Having a place to call home—a space where I can rest and feel safe. Can I wish for even more this year?
  6. Technology. There are so many amazing innovations that have changed our lives. Especially mobile phones! 30 years ago, I never thought I could do so many things with a mobile phone. We can search the internet, watch movies, use YouTube, do banking, check the time, write something... the list goes on. Thanks to all the geniuses! What else can we do in the future?
  7. Talking to my sister via video call. This means a lot to me, especially since we live in different places.
  8. Writing this gratitude journal. It made me reflect on myself. Yes, we always think of ourselves, but most of the time, I focus on others' flaws, wrongdoings, or behaviors, and how much it makes me feel bad.
  9. Family. There are both good and bad times, but that’s life. We are all different individuals. Even when we speak the same language, it’s not always easy to understand each other. But it’s not about perfect understanding. We just need to accept and respect each other’s differences. It’s something I need to keep reminding myself.
  10. Day and night. If it were always day or always night, life would be so boring. Thanks to the way we live on Earth, we get to experience both.

It’s Day 4, and it’s still not always easy to think of what I’m grateful for, but today, I feel especially thankful for technology. Without these advancements, our lives would move at a much slower pace. Many times, I feel overwhelmed by how fast things are changing, but I’m using technology every day in my life. When will we get to do teleportation?
