Gratitude Journal – Day 12: Hoping for Without the "What If"

Gratitude Journal – Day 12: Hoping for Without the "What If"

Today, I am grateful for:

1. Sunlight
I woke up to sunlight streaming through the window. We didn’t install blackout curtains intentionally, so I could wake up naturally with the light. I wonder, if the room were darker, would I have woken up at all?

2. Good Health
The good health of the people I love, and my own, is truly priceless. It’s always uncomfortable to hear about someone falling ill, especially when there’s nothing you can do to help.

3. My Furbabies
My furbabies bring me stability and inner peace. I can't imagine going anywhere without them. Is that strange?

4. Quiet Moments
As I expected, the sounds of firecrackers and fireworks have been going off outside. I hope it doesn’t go on too late tonight—last night it finally stopped at 1:30 AM. Please, no more! I’m so grateful for these quiet moments.

5. Viewers
I’m thankful for those who watch my content and find value in it. Your perspective often resonates with mine, and that means so much to me.

6. Wind
It’s a bit windy this evening, and the cold wind brushing against my cheeks feels so refreshing.

7. Praying
I’m grateful for the ability to pray and share my difficulties, seeking guidance and encouragement. In the past, I didn’t pray much, and I didn’t realize how my actions might have affected others negatively.

8. Pushing Myself
Pushing myself to do things and pushing myself not to do things is hard. There are many moments I feel like giving up.

9. Parents
I’m grateful to still have my parents with me. Even simple conversations about daily life are such a joy. I should call them more often.

10. Electricity
I can’t imagine life without electricity. No phone charging, no internet, no food preservation, no washing machine, no robot vacuum cleaner... the list goes on. How would we manage without it?

It would be a truly successful life if we could learn to be grateful for simply being, without comparisons or dwelling on "what if."
