Gratitude Journal – Day 11: Lunar New Year Eve

Gratitude Journal – Day 11: Lunar New Year Eve

Today, I am grateful for:

1. Lunar New Year
The sounds of firecrackers and fireworks have been going off outside since this morning. Tomorrow marks the Lunar New Year, and today is the eve. It’s another opportunity to begin with a fresh mindset. People will head back to their hometowns to celebrate with their families. The start of anything new always brings joy. I miss my family.
Unfortunately, public celebrations like this aren’t good news for my dogs. They hate the loud sounds. I can’t say I’m fond of them either, especially since people here tend to set off firecrackers and fireworks for every occasion. The Lunar New Year is the worst—people play them for over 10 days straight. It's overwhelming.

2. Good Health
I am always grateful for my health.

3. My Furbabies
My furbabies bring me so much happiness. They've always been there for me. Who else would be so loyal?

4. Viewers
My last two videos didn’t perform well. It’s disappointing, and I’ll admit it brings me down. I put in the usual effort, but the audience didn’t seem to notice. I’m feeling stuck. Am I on the right path? Still, there are a few of you who watch and support me. I’m thankful for each of you.

5. Rainy Day
Today, the rain returned. It was so refreshing. The cool, natural breeze made me forget the bad memories and gave me the courage to begin anew. I love walking in the cool wind.

6. Not Wasting Time
I’m grateful that I didn’t waste time today. I did what I planned to do last night instead of lying down and mindlessly scrolling through my screen.

7. Robot Vacuum Cleaner
I’m so thankful for my robot vacuum cleaner. It takes care of the vacuuming and mopping every morning, saving me so much time. It was truly a good investment.

8. Pipes
Whoever invented the pipe system and installed it in homes and buildings deserves a huge thank you. It makes life so much easier to have hot and cold water at the turn of a faucet.

9. Readers
Thank you to anyone who reads my blog. I appreciate you taking the time to engage with my little part of the world.

10. Those Who Share Their Learning with Others
Every day, I think about how, without advanced technology, our ability to share knowledge was limited. Now, with just time and patience, we can learn so much. I’m grateful to those who share their learning with others.

Want to lie down and laze around. What do you want to do now?
